According to tithe (Lunar Calendar) our son is two years old.

On May 5 2012 (Baishak 23, 2069), according to tithe (lunar calendar) our son is is completely two years old. We've celebrated his second Birthday (Yomari Punhi).

On April, 24, 2012 (Baishak 12, 2067), one week back, our son is 23 months old. I couldn't write the blog at time because i was out of the valley for my official work.
Physically he is 2 ft 8 inches tall.
This time he wants to do everything  by himself. Eating food, cutting vegetables, taking water, etc.
He can answer different questions. When he is asked, where is baba? He says, "Baba downstairs". Showing a hen, if he is asked what it sounds?" He says " Khookari kaa" and so on. He remembers the name of many objects he sees around. And when he sees something new things, he asks many questions regarding it.
He asks for food and drinks, like he asks for black tea, Mo Mo, cake, meat, juice, water, etc.

He enjoys ordering people around to do the work he wants us to do. He orders us to bring water for him, and do different things for him.
It seems he is afraid of rejection, so whenever he commits come mistakes, he looks at us and starts crying before we say anything to him, and he expects us to hug him and forgive for his mistakes.
He sometimes shows his anger by slapping and hitting us.
He sometimes shows his stubbornness and uses the words like, "It's mine," "I don't like it or you," "Go away!," and "No" is his favorite word this time.

He can sits and read some picture book in his own way and can turn pages by himself. He knows well where different things are kept in our house.
He runs a lot than walk, and sometimes he enjoys walking on low wall when i hold his hand.
We don't know why he doesn't want to go to daycare now a days, may be he missed us a lot as he stays away from us throughout the day.

Yesterday on 15 March 2012 (Chitra 12, 2068) our son is 22 months old.
This month, i remained out of the valley most of the time, so i couldn't write lot about him. But in overall he has learned lot of vocabulary and he can respond on our questions and express his needs and wants. He has learned some rhymes like Johny Johny, Yes Papa, and can sing it well.

Our son is 21 months old

Today on 24 feb 2012 (Falgun 12, 2068) our son is 21 months old.

Physically he has become much stronger than before. He is ft tal.

He uses different word we’ve never taught him. It seems that he is listening to our talks and picking the words we are using.

This time we are trying to teach him some habits like brushing, washing hands before meal, etc. He enjoys brushing his teeth with his little brush. But about bowl movement, he tells us about it as per his wish.

He memorizes the names of people, mine medes, his mom Sonia, his grandpa nati, and his aunt archana, and his friends.

He enjoys playing with mud, sand and pebbles a lot. He enjoys playing some musical instruments like madal, trumpet and asks us to dance while he plays.

He likes to sweep, dust, hammer, vacuum, scoop, or rake and water plants because he has seen us do these things.

He likes very tiny things like bugs and watch them very closely and name them. Similary he can name people he knows from pictures.

He doesn't always do what we ask him to.

Sometimes he does the opposite. It seems he is testing the limits we set for him and try to get his own way. For example, when we tell him not to go near the stairs, he goes there n tries to find out up to where he can go.

He tries to tell people what he has seen and done.

He likes to pretend. He sometimes wraps up his teddy in a blanket and put it to bed.

This time he is easily hurt. Whenever we say something loud for him, he just cries from the heart.

Our son is 20 months old

Yesterday on 12 magh 2068 (Jan 26 2012) our son is 20 months old.
He loves picture books a lot and can relate animal with their sounds well. He is very good at saying a big "NO". He asks questions a lot, whats that?, why is that?, where is that? and so on, it seems he is trying to learn everything around.
He is slowly becoming physically independent, he can kick a ball or balloon well but sometimes he wants to be a baby and behaves accordingly. Till now it seems that he knows very little about safety so he wants to do everything in his own way. Similarly he wants to help whatever we do in front of him like brooming, cutting vegetables, typing on laptop, etc.
He can sort his blocks (toy) according to the colour and put puzzle blocks together to form a long tower.
He is very particular about personal belongings, like he wants my sandals to be used only by me, and my fathers belongs to be used only by him and so on.
He enjoys pulling toilet paper way out a lot. He sometimes let us know about bowel movements, and sometimes not.
This time he shows tantrum a lot, it seems like he has learned that is the way to get somethings he wants.
Finally he wants to eat everything by himself and he is a messy eater.
