We had a nice visit to Bandipur from 10th to 12th oct 2012 (Asoj 24 to 26, 2069). We enjoyed a lot, specially our son did.

His first works from his preschool

Following are some of the works he has done in his preschool.

Choro with me and my wife as a background picture.

He cut and pasted some colorful paper on the apple.

He identified same and different geometric shapes.

He colored dog and dolphin

He tried to solve same and different pictures.

Our son is 28 months old

Yesterday on September 28, 2012 (Asoj12, 2069) our son was 28 months old.
This months he enjoyed make believe play a lot, specially playing with his cooking utensils(toys).  He puts on and off his sandals, but sometimes he got confused with right and left shoes. He has the concept that entering the room with shoes is not good, so he always takes off his shoes before entering the room. Similarly puts any trash in dust bin.
He enjoys listening to rhymes and singing them too.He can sing rhymes like jonny jonny, jack and jill, ba ba black ship, twinkle twinkle, abcdefg, and more.
To this time he has got 6 teddies, smallest to biggest. He enjoys talking with his teddies a lot, he chats with them about his interests, tells them what had happened in his school and specially he wants all the teddies to be watching him while he dances.
He has got some concept of pattern. When i start making patterns with red and blue chard and ask him to continue he easily does it.

Our son is 27 months old

Today on Aug28, 2012 (Bhadra 12, 2069) our son is 27 months old.
He enjoys humming with his mom and enjoys dancing a lot. While he dances he wants us to watch and play madal.
He enjoys playing with his i pad a lot. He solves different animal puzzles easily and name different objects, animals and other things with clear pronunciation. But he seems to be much addicted to i pad as he has to play with his i pad at lease once in a day and wants to be with it all the time.
When we give him some choices, he wants all. Like "Baby, do you want ice cream or cake?" He answers "I want ice cream and cake."
Chatting and talking is his favorite thing this time. Basically he enjoys chatting with his teddy (i hold teddy and talk like teddy and i hold and move teddy's head as if it is really talking). He tells everything that happened in his school, like what he ate, what he did, what was there for lunch and what his teachers did, etc.
This month he's got a big pimple on his for head and rashes around his nose.

This month we bought him a plastic set of kitchen utensils. He enjoys make believe play with these utensils. He cuts real vegetables with his knife, cooks it in the pressure cooker on the gas stove, and serves these things in a plate after cooked, and asks us to act like eating these delicacies.

Our son is 26 months old

Today on July 27, 2012 (Srawan 12, 2069) our son is 26 months old.
Physically he is 2 feet 4 and half inches tall but he is not gaining weight accordingly. He knows well about his bowel movement and tells us when he wants to go to the toilet. He is learning complicated works with his hands like opening the lid of the bottle, opening the door lock, etc. He is able to walk up in the stairs easily but need some support walking down on the stairs.
He has started using plural words like crows, cats etc. He enjoys playing with his elder brothers and sister. He seems to know about birthday and birthday cake.
He enjoys local festival Gai Jatra and specially watching "Lakhe"
This month we bought an i pad for him.  He enjoys it a lot. He plays different games. He names  picture of different animals, enjoys solving picture puzzle, and listening to nursery rhymes on it.
This time he shows his anger a lot. He says "I love you" if we support him and says "I hate you" if we don't.
We play make believe play a lot with him. He likes to act like a Little mouse very much.
He still is a messy eater.

Our son is 25 months old.

Today on June 26, 2012 (Ashad 12, 2069) our son is 25 months old.
This time he holds the pencil or crayons with his finger and thumb. He enjoys holding his books and behaves like reading. It seems he is developing the concept of one and two.
Interestingly he has learned solving 3 pieces picture puzzle.
He can sing phrase of song and his favorite songs.
He answers almost any question we ask him regarding him and his belongings both in nepali and newari language.
He brushes his teeth but still need some assistant.
It seems he values himself and his belongings, and "It's mine" is the favorite statement he uses the most.

This time he seems to be a bit stubborn, he wants to do whatever he thinks, if we resist him he expresses his anger by remaining quiet for a long without even looking at us and without responding to us.

According to BS (Bikram Sambat) our son is 2 years old today.

Today on may 25 2012 (Jesth 12, 2069), according to BS(Bikram Sambat) our son is 2 years (24 months) old. From today he stepped into 25th months.
Physically he is 2 ft 9 inches tall. He is physical fit and fine.
This months he seems to be much more curious as he asks so many questions whatever he sees around him. "Where does it (.................) come from?" is the question he enjoys asking this time. For example if i say this is the cow baby. He starts asking question like "where does cow come from?" Then i answer - from forest. He again asks "where does forest come from?" and so on..
This time he is able to wear his sandals by himself. Till now he wants to play with water too much, so he usually suffers from cold. Sometimes he shows his sense of humour.
