Our son is 21 months old

Today on 24 feb 2012 (Falgun 12, 2068) our son is 21 months old.

Physically he has become much stronger than before. He is ft tal.

He uses different word we’ve never taught him. It seems that he is listening to our talks and picking the words we are using.

This time we are trying to teach him some habits like brushing, washing hands before meal, etc. He enjoys brushing his teeth with his little brush. But about bowl movement, he tells us about it as per his wish.

He memorizes the names of people, mine medes, his mom Sonia, his grandpa nati, and his aunt archana, and his friends.

He enjoys playing with mud, sand and pebbles a lot. He enjoys playing some musical instruments like madal, trumpet and asks us to dance while he plays.

He likes to sweep, dust, hammer, vacuum, scoop, or rake and water plants because he has seen us do these things.

He likes very tiny things like bugs and watch them very closely and name them. Similary he can name people he knows from pictures.

He doesn't always do what we ask him to.

Sometimes he does the opposite. It seems he is testing the limits we set for him and try to get his own way. For example, when we tell him not to go near the stairs, he goes there n tries to find out up to where he can go.

He tries to tell people what he has seen and done.

He likes to pretend. He sometimes wraps up his teddy in a blanket and put it to bed.

This time he is easily hurt. Whenever we say something loud for him, he just cries from the heart.

Our son is 20 months old

Yesterday on 12 magh 2068 (Jan 26 2012) our son is 20 months old.
He loves picture books a lot and can relate animal with their sounds well. He is very good at saying a big "NO". He asks questions a lot, whats that?, why is that?, where is that? and so on, it seems he is trying to learn everything around.
He is slowly becoming physically independent, he can kick a ball or balloon well but sometimes he wants to be a baby and behaves accordingly. Till now it seems that he knows very little about safety so he wants to do everything in his own way. Similarly he wants to help whatever we do in front of him like brooming, cutting vegetables, typing on laptop, etc.
He can sort his blocks (toy) according to the colour and put puzzle blocks together to form a long tower.
He is very particular about personal belongings, like he wants my sandals to be used only by me, and my fathers belongs to be used only by him and so on.
He enjoys pulling toilet paper way out a lot. He sometimes let us know about bowel movements, and sometimes not.
This time he shows tantrum a lot, it seems like he has learned that is the way to get somethings he wants.
Finally he wants to eat everything by himself and he is a messy eater.

Our son is 19 months old

Day before yesterday, on poush 12 (Dec 27, 2011), our son is completely 19 months old. He is 2 ft 7 inches tall and weights 12 kg.
He has become a talkative guy. He speaks in such a way that sometimes we get irritated. He speaks 2 words sentences a lot and sometimes he speaks a whole sentence also. His language is like "baba nana" (father's dresses), "babu nana" (his dresses), "Menu baba" (my father), "Menu mama" (my mother), "babu hammaa" (he eat something),and whole sentences like "babu chichi hapu hamma" (he eats rice and meat), "babu chea bum papa hamma" (he eats tea with bread) "babu nunu yau" (he wants to sleep), "babu ghumi ghumi woneu" (he wants to go for visit), and so on. Similarly he enjoys saying names of different things like "hatthi" (elephant), "kag" (crow), "chea" (tea),"dudu" (milk),"hatthi" (elephant), "bom" (ball),"chau chau" (noodles), etc. Now a days he is very good at saying "NO".
He recognizes his body parts well like "mikha" (eye), "tuti" (let), "laha" (hand), "mhutu" (mouth), "Pwa" (tummy), "pyo" (bum), etc and he tries to relate different clothings to body parts like cap on head, shirt on body, shocks on legs, etc.
Similarly he enjoys reading a lot. He has learned animal with their sounds like crow - caw, rat - che che, goat - maaa, cow - baaaa, dog - bow bow, duck - quack quack, etc.
He follows simple directions like baby close the door, bring me the water and so on.
It seems he wants independence as he loves to have lunch by himself, and copy whatever we do.
He enjoys listening to nursery rhymes and nepali folk musics and dance on them.
He likes dressing up in adults clothes and shoes and pretends to be an adult. And he enjoys watching himself on mirror a lot while he is wearing clothes or combing, putting cream on his face.
He enjoys hide and seek game a lot. He hides different things and wants us to find them and asks us where is the object. Similarly he plays well with tiles specially piling them and breaking the pile.
This months he suffered from teeth a lot. Four premolar teeth grew at once so he was sick for about 2 weeks. Due to this pain he even didn't want to have a single grain of rice in his mouth. So he remained very weak this month.
He is stubborn now a days. whatever he wish, we have to fulfill his wish otherwise he become bully and throw things here and there and screams on us.

Our son is 17 months old

Day before yesterday on 12 kartik, 2068 (29 October 2011), our son is 17 months old. Physically he has gained the weight of 10.6 kg and he is 2 ft and 6 inches tall.

He is becoming a proficient walker. He tries to kick a ball, though he won't always be successful. He likes to dance if we play music or there is some musical program running on tv .

He seems busy imitating our conversations he hears and tries them out. Besides "Mama" and "Dada," favorite words include "bye-bye," "De De," - (his mother's milk), "Ti Tit," - (vehicles), "Hapu,"-(Lunch) "Hajur,"-(Yes) "Hunna,"-(sound of machines) "Na,"-(take it and give me) "Changa,"-(kite) "Jhanda,"-(flair) "Aanda papa,"-(egg) "Che che,"-(mice) "Mun,"-(moon) "pant,"-(Plant) hatti,"-(elephant) fiz,"-(fridge) "tar,"-(star) and "Aana,"-(there). He can link some two words together to form simple sentences — sentences without linking verbs or other connecting words, like "Baba Hapu" (Baba this is lunch or come for lunch), "Babu aana" (he wants to go there), "Mama de de"(mama I want mikl) "Hapu ham"(eat rice).

It seems he has begun to realize that every toy, every animal, every person, everything, has a name. He can show the real moon on the sky and when we read for him he shows the moon on the book. Similarly he can link real dog with the dog on the book, real kite and kite on the book.

He is becoming stubborn and shows terrible tantrums. When he doesn't want to do something, he often throws himself on the floor and kicks his arms and legs.
