Physically he is 12 kgs and .... ft gall. He can pour things from one container to another like pouring a cup of bean to another with more accuracy. He can brush his teeth, wash his hands and mouth easily. He tries to put on his t shirt and paints but need our help, but can take off his shirt and paints well.
He can translate from Newari to Nepali and vice-verse well as I'm the Newari speaker to him and his mom the Nepali speaker. He has to translate from one language to another when we three are communicating. He recognize different colours like white, black, red, blue and green. Similarly he has the concept of numbers up to 5 pretty well. When we show him the random number of fingers to him (up to 5), he says the number accurately. And he recognize the numbers up to 10. He can count up to 20 but with some mistake.
This time he enjoys make believe play a lot. He wants different roles like the role of Father, Mother, Grand father, Teacher and of different animals. He wants us (me and my wife) to take the role of his son and daughter and he being a father reads different stories (from books) to us.
On Asoj 30 2069 (16 Oct 2012) we decided to stop his breast feeding habit, that night he couldn't sleep well and became more cranky, uncomfortable and aggressive. We tried that for two days, but he didn't seem comfortable so we decided to continue it but reduce the frequency of breast feeding. And he is fine with that.
